Introduction and Rules
Got a burning desire to show your mates an amazing photo that you took? Like an excuse to run off and take a bunch more photos? Do you simply enjoy a good social outing sharing a story with others over a photo or two? Then this event is for you!
We’d love to see your photos here where they can be admired by a wider audience.
Rules & Guidlines
- Entry of photos and voting is open to residents and their family and friends, as well as former residents only.
- Photos can be taken in / or be from roughly the area covering Bluewater to Jourama, and Mutarnee to Zig Zag (i.e. Paluma & District)
- Photos submitted can be of any age.
- The photo entrant must be either the copyright holder or be entering on behalf of the copyright holder whose name is entered for exhibition purposes.
- No AI-generated images please.
- All uploaded photos should conform to social norms as they are applied to most social media platforms. If an image would be banned from Facebook or Instagram it will be removed from the upload site.”
How to Participate
The main exhibition gallery is on the main contest page. In order to upload, comment or vote you need to first register on the Paluma.org website. Once you have registered then you simply need to log in with the username and password that you nominated during registration. The site will automatically recognise registered users, and should also ask if you would like it to remember your login details so you don’t have to go through this rigmarole next time.
The main gallery has an upload button that lets you select a picture from your phone, tablet, or computer to upload. That’s it. During the first 6 weeks you can upload as many photos as you like and comment on any photos. On October 15 you will be able to vote for your favourite photo(s).
