 Temporary closure of Bruce Highway: Thursday 8 June 2023Emergency recovery works Good morning, The Department of Transport and Main Road advises emergency recovery works are currently underway on the Bruce Highway just north of Toomulla Beach Road intersection (north of Townsville). The works are to recover a crane from the road reserve following an incident yesterday. The recovery works will occur today between 11 am to 5pm, with a temporary full road closure in place on the Bruce Highway from approximately 11:45am to 12:15pm and again from approximately 12:30pm to 2:30pm. There will be temporary traffic management and Queensland Police Service police on site.
