Not all varieties of Hibiscus do well in Paluma’s cool and wet climate, but those that do can form huge bushes reaching up to roof level. Paluma hosts one beautiful naturalised hibiscus that can be found in garden and road edges is Hibiscus mutabilis. Its flowers change colour from white in the morning when it opens to dark pink by the end of the day.
