DESCRIPTION:This event in Paluma is part of an initiative bringing disaster recovery services to regional areas of Townsville to provide on-site support and resources relevant to the area. There will be an opportunity to engage with a range of stallholders and organisations who provide information\, direct support\, and resources to support communities recover from the impacts of disasters. The event will be free of charge\, with local food vendors available. Each attendee will have the opportunity to complete a “Connect and Collect Passport” by completing a series of activities alongside stallholders\, resulting in an individualised recovery booklet to support future resilience. Each completed book also acts as an entry into the draw to win a prize!
